Spectacular performance of classical music by Pandit Sanjeev Shankar and Pandit Ashwini Shankar with accompaniment by Shri Juheb on tabla mesmerized the audience at Gyanodaya SMVM, Khurai on March 21, 2024. 
The Shankar brothers, recipients of prestigious awards like the Bismillah Khan Yuva Puraskar and Aditya Vikram Birla Puraskar, showcased their mastery in Hindustani classical music. Recently, they also performed at the Shri Ram Lalla Pran Pratishtha Samaroh in Ayodhya. 
SPIC MACAY, founded by Dr. Kiran Seth, promotes Indian classical music and culture through voluntary youth movement. It spreads across 300+ cities worldwide, nurturing various aspects of Indian heritage. 
The program commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by a warm welcome extended to all the artists by Dr. Abhinav Shukla, the principal of the school. 
The enchanting performance of Shehnai began with Raag Madhuvanti, captivating the audience in Nayak Hall with the skillful rendition by the Shankar brothers. 
The coordination of the event was led by Ms. Debolina Day, while gratitude was expressed by the vice-principal, Shri Vishwanath Pandey. 
The aim of the program was to acquaint the students of Gyanodaya SMVM, Khurai with the cultural heritage of India, fostering their holistic development.
