Hostel Facility

It is often said that home is where is the heart is. Such a philosophy has been kept in mind whilst creating the provision of hostel accommodation in this school. There is a separate building devoted for the hostel right next to the school building within the school premises. Some of its salient features are:

It has 13 semi-furnished dormitories which can accommodate approximately 200 students that have a total of 130 double-decker beds and 60 single beds. These dormitories are well ventilated, and equipped with air- coolers. The hostel has a store room, a movie theatre, a study room and a computer lab with 20 computers. The hostel administration is maintained by the 5 wardens and the housemasters

The hostel has an in-house mess that serves 3 meals and two rounds of refreshments, in which approximately 400 students can be fed at a time. The food is cooked and served in keeping with the Jain customs and habits. The highest standards of precautions are taken while maintaining hygiene levels in the mess. The mess is run with a team of 2 head-cooks and 13 assistant cooks.

The hostel has installed an independent RO water plant with two water coolers. There hostel has a provision for maintaining communication between parents and their wards through the a couple of official mobile phones. Laundry facilities have also been provided by way of 12 laundry machines.

To manage and restore the sudden breakdown of the boarders’ health, in-house medical facilities are available round the clock. A 5-bedded mini dispensary named “Arogya Mandir” has been set up as a separate enclosure within the hostel building itself. The hostel has a full-time doctor to attend to the medical needs of the hostellers.
