Sport Facilities
A healthy mind resides in a healthy body”. This is a very well-known proverb that calls for the importance of keeping physically strong and mentally sound. Sports and games are one of the best ways to be healthy and active. Therefore, sports and games are inbuilt into the school curriculum. All the students must participate in the sports activity. Everyone has to choose some of the other games.
Our school offers adequate facilities for various indoor and outdoor sports and games such as cricket, football, volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-kho, basketball, handball, badminton, table tennis, boxing and karate, athletics, carom, and chess. The school has modern facilities of separate grounds, venues, courts, and arenas for the respective sports and games.
We have in place well-maintained and standardized three badminton courts, three volleyball courts, two basketball courts, one football, cricket, and handball field each, and two Kho-Kho grounds. There is a separate venue for boxing, martial arts, and karate. The school also has dedicated spaces for playing table tennis, chess and carom. The school has full-time coaches, trainers, and physical training instructors (P.T.I.) for separate sports and games.
To instill enthusiasm, and camaraderie and develop the feelings of sportsmanship, the school organizes numerous competitions at the inter-class, inter-house and inter-school levels, cutting across all age groups. For all these events junior and senior teams are prepared to participate in various competitions. Students have to come in proper sportswear.
